Built by Stellaris Technologies on the robust OpenText Intelligent Capture platform, STTranscripts is a pre-packaged solution that enables highly accurate data extraction from academic transcripts both High School as well as University, with minimal operator intervention and low processing costs.
The unstructured nature of academic transcripts presents a challenge for any simple OCR and capture solution: they do not adhere to a consistent format, and tables that can be placed anywhere on the page, across multiple pages, and under differently-named column headings.

STTranscripts uses a proprietary algorithm that detects course details on a page and combines results from multiple tables across pages. This eliminates need to create numerous unique transcript templates which are typically required for extracting transcript data from simple OCR solutions.
The solution exports data in PESC compliant format and interfaces with Stellaris’ DIAStatPro data analytics tool that can be used for determining the accuracy of the data, provides a health-check into the system, and measures both throughput and operator performance.
